
Nikoi is a member of The Long Run.

Penny Williams, owner and Executive Chef of Bali Asli and a long-time friend of Nikoi and Cempedak, first fell in love with Asian cuisine while travelling in the 1990s. After an apprenticeship at the Savoy and roles in leading Sydney restaurants, she returned to Bali as Executive Chef at Alila Manggis, where the freshness of local produce and Balinese cooking deeply inspired her. In 2011 she founded Bali Asli, a restaurant and culinary school dedicated to celebrating Balinese food and culture. Penny continues to visit us regularly, working with Chef Dika and our team to craft new dishes and experiment with fresh flavour combinations.

While she's on Nikoi Island, Penny will host two cooking classes which you can get involved in:
